What is your personal 'WHY' that has led you to VEC?

After more than a decade in the construction industry as a builder, I saw firsthand that VDC/BIM is the future of design and construction efficiency. I came to know VEC while serving as a board member on the Construction Management Advisory Council (CMAC) and member of the Construction Technology Committee (CTEC) at Cal Poly, SLO. There, I was introduced to Shane Saltzgiver (Founder & CEO of VEC). Instantly, Shane and I connected on the untapped potential of VDC/BIM in the industry and how VEC was going to change the game; providing unprecedented value to its clients and challenging the status quo.

During my first visit to VEC HQ in San Francisco, I was struck by the electric atmosphere, filled with talented individuals who share my vision and passion. VDC/BIM being a relatively new career path in the industry, I saw a unique opportunity for me at VEC. The privilege to mentor the next generation of professionals who want to harness the power of technology, enhance the industry and provide exceptional value to our clients.
