The client's data center comprises a two-story concrete facility with seismic bracing to comply with Seismic Zone IV regulations. It involves adjacent land available for potential expansion. Located in the heart of Silicon Valley, the building is ideal for collocating test/dev and production workloads, and offers low latency connectivity to leading public cloud on-ramps.
VEC’s confidential client’s facility provides access to CXD, the industry's on-demand colocation platform. It meets various compliance standards, including SSAE18, SOC-1, SOC-2, ISO 27001, PCI DSS, NIST 800-53 PE, and HIPAA. In terms of connectivity, this data center offers access to 14 distinct network service providers and the rest of their growing community. VEC's biggest challenge on this mission-critical facility was maintaining solid BIM coordination following all the regulatory requirements.
"It's amazing how fast and how much the bluff has receded over the last year. To capture and analyze this data opens my eyes to what this technology can be used for."
"It was a pleasure working alongside AECOM to analyze the corrosion of the bluff using Laser scanning Technology and Drone Photogrammetry. The data we captured is essential as it will provide insight into the stability and safety of the bluff."
